Raised in Paris, Gali Dotan moved to New York City after a long career in the performing arts to study and eventually graduate from the world-renowned Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance.
As a trained dancer, Gali has always felt a special connection to the movements of the body. Her passion for the art made the transition from dance to physical training seamless. She quickly rose through the ranks as a beloved trainer at New York City’s powerhouse institutions; Physique 57 and Barry’s Bootcamp, where she began to hone and perfect her teaching style.
Regardless of the studio, her students were always greeted with a uniquely positive and encouraging energy, and enveloped in a fun and energetic atmosphere, which of course focused on body and form over all else.
Frustrated with the “big industry’s” lack of attention to safety and form, she was encouraged by many of her favorite students to continue as a personal trainer. Gali’s greatest achievements continue to come from the success and personal connections she has made with her clients.
